Wishing you a Merry Christmas from St. Thomas More Parish

The first Christmas was simple—a quiet night, a humble manger, and a world gently stirred awake by love.

St. Augustine calls out:

“Awake, mankind! For your sake God has become man.”

Christmas is God’s invitation to awaken—to rise from complacency, to recognize mercy born among us,
and to live in the light that no darkness can overcome.

May this holy season awaken our hearts to faith, hope, and enduring joy.

As the fourth candle is lit, we reflect on love—the love that moved God to enter our world in humility. Advent has taught us to wait not in emptiness, but in hope, prayer, and trust. Now the light is nearly complete, and our hearts are turned toward Bethlehem. The coming day is close, and with it, the gift of Christ among us.
